JOHNman is one of the first Living Doll performers and has played a decisive role in shaping this art movement in Germany.

He has won several World Awards at numerous foreign engagements and festivals from Oslo to Johannisburg, from Toronto to Shenzhen and Mumbai. The highlights in the art(ificial) life of the self-taught JOHNman are the World Championship titles 2010 and 2013 at the World Championship for Living Statues in Arnhem, Holland. This makes him the first and so far only artist to be elected world champion twice.
